Introducing the Somerville Watch Co. "Back Bay" Dive Watch, designed for the modern man who values both style and rugged functionality.
This watch was designed from the ground up by the team here at SWC, and we are proud to finally bring it to our customers for the 2025 holiday season.
Named for the beautiful Back Bay neighborhood in Somerville's neighboring town, Boston, MA (maybe you've heard of it?), this watch features a stunning enamel dial with (in our opinion) perfectly proportioned dial text and graphics.
Be one of the lucky few to get this limited, first-edition run of the SWC Back Bay.

- Dial: Premium, glossy enamel dial "Back Bay" dial with luminescent, hand-applied indices.

Water resistance: 100m/330ft of water resistance. Individually tested to a minimum of 6 bars during our QC process. We do not recommend swimming or showering with this watch, and do not warranty against water damage.

Ordered the Daytona Mod “Le Mans” Chronograph watch from SWC and couldn’t be happier. The color combo is great and the small details make all the difference. I get so many compliments when wearing this.
I love this watch. Looks and feels like a high quality Omega Speedmaster but out does the Speedmaster (in my opinion) because it is reasonably priced and has a battery operated movement. Saves me the time and need for manual winding and/or daily wear. As the owner of several watches that I rotate through each day, the conveince of battery operation (although not cool for high end watches) is perfect for practical applications.

I really love this option. It’s probably the most comfortable out of any bracelet/strap. I have it on my panda Daytona and it really makes the Dial Pop 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic work from Somerville Watch Company! The attention to detail is honestly incredible, and the watch was actually of a higher quality than I was expecting for the price. In a sea of sketchy SeikoMod sites, ordering from here is absolutely your safest bet! I will definitely be ordering more in the future!
Note: Strap in photo is an aftermarket strap. The bracelet it came with was a really good quality (which is shockingly rare with a lot of these SeikoMod sites), but this is just what I happened to have it on when doing my review!
I have to be honest, this watch for the cost is absolutely top tier quality in my opinion. The automatic movement system is fantastic, the dive dial on it is crisp and consistent, and the band/style is convincing to lend one to believe you may ACTUALLY be an MI6 member… The watch also has a glass back to see the movement mechanism which I believe is a beautiful and unique addition even the original NTTD watch does not have. The only complaint I have is I have to buy the NATO band separate (this really is not a complaint at all, I just know that I’ll need it also.)
If you are on the fence for this or any other Somerville Watch I would personally encourage you to go for it, I promise you will NOT regret it!
Watch is exactly as advertised, well, actually better due to the fact they didn’t have the dial I’d ordered available so they shipped me a premium dial at no extra cost. Highly recommend this store!
