FAQs: READ ME BEFORE SUBMITTING!
Do you have experience with custom-builds?
Yes we do! You can read through our reviews by clicking here and check out some photos of our custom builds on our instagram.
How can I make my request go as smoothly as possible?
Often times, there are several different approaches to making the same Mod, and you may like one far more than the other.
The most straightforward way to approach a custom-build request is share a photo of an existing Seiko Mod and include a detailed description of how you would like it modified, if at all, as well as a link to the website where you found it.
Can you make a Seiko Mod that I have seen on another website?
With our connections, we are able to source a wide variety of high-quality parts to assemble the watch of your dreams.
If you have seen a watch on another Seiko Modder's website, then we will work with our suppliers to source the necessary parts to make it for you.
If submitting a request for a watch you have seen elsewhere, please include a link to the store where you found the watch.
Do you produce custom dials?
If the request involves creating a custom dial and placing it into an existing case you see on our website, we can absolutely fulfill your request.
Pricing for custom dials begin at $150, in addition to the cost of the base watch.
I have never seen a Seiko Mod version of a watch, can you make it for me?
If you have a specific watch in mind, but have never seen a Seiko Mod version of it, you can still submit a request.
However, if your request is likely to require the design or production of a new case, it is not possible. The CNC design and production process is simply too costly for this to be feasible.
Can I request a different movement?
Oftentimes, customers ask us if they can swap the movement in a watch for another movement, such as a solar or atomic movement. Or replacing a quartz movement with an automatic movement, or vice versa.
Unfortunately, we are not able to fulfill these type of requests.
Watch cases are designed to house a specific movement. Replacing the movement would require the design or production of a new case. The CNC design and production process for a single case is simply too costly for this to be feasible.
How long do custom-builds take to ship?
Custom-builds are typically ready to ship within 2-3 weeks.
The custom-build process requires some patience, as timelines may vary. Watch parts must be ordered and shipped to our studio. Once parts have arrived, the watch must be carefully assembled and put through our multi-point QC process.
How much do custom-builds cost?
You can expect pricing for custom-builds to be slightly higher in cost than for our regular offering. This reflects the additional time and effort which we must invest into researching and sourcing high-quality parts that are your unique to your new watch.

Once you submit your request, we’ll research it and provide you with a quote.
Are custom-builds returnable?
By their very nature, custom-builds are crafted from parts that are unique to your build and were purchased solely for you, our customer. For this reason, it isn't possible for us to make use of these parts if you cancel your order or request a return.
For this reason, we do not offer returns on custom-builds. However we stand behind all of our watches and back our custom-builds with the same 1-year warranty as our regular offerings.
